Every Friday, we’re bringing you an update on the latest news in the world of inclusive fashion—and this week’s hits include a plus size brand extending their size range to become extremely size-inclusive, an influencer’s new body positive anthem, and Dia&Co’s own party with our pal Rebel Wilson. Here’s some reading for you to stay in-the-know.

1. Troy Solomon, better known as @abearnamedtroy, released a body-positive pop song
The banger, called “Thicck,” features glamorous acrylic nails, saturated bright colors, and Troy giving his plus-size body as much love as he can—we can’t get enough. We’ve loved the Los Angeles influencer @abearnamedtroy for his fashion inspiration, but now we can’t get his song out of our heads.

2. Universal Standard is widening their size range to go from 00-40
Known for their everyday basics and minimalist aesthetic, Universal Standard has long served plus sizes. They recently expanded their size range from sizes 10-28 to 6-32, and this week, they announced they’ll extend their range to sizes 00-40. We’re excited to hear the news because every step towards inclusivity helps #movefashionforward.

3. Rebel Wilson celebrates the launch of her holiday collection with Dia&Co
On Thursday, October 11th, Rebel Wilson and Dia&Co threw a party to celebrate the release of her latest collection with Rebel Wilson X Angels. Press and influencers gathered at a swanky Chelsea karaoke bar for a “Salty & Sweet” party, inspired by the theme of Rebel’s holiday collection. To complete the concept, the party included a mix of salty and sweet snacks, drinks, and a playlist of varied tunes sung by Broadway actress Tiffany Mann.

4. Trainer Morit Summers explains why we need size-inclusive fitness spaces
Gyms have always felt like an exclusive club of extremely fit people, where only a certain type of body was admitted. Morit Summers, a plus size fitness trainer, explains why we need to change that concept and shared how she opened her own studio that’s free of body shaming and completely inclusive.

5. Actress Danielle Brooks used an all plus size crew to produce her latest photo shoot
Not only Danielle Brooks an incredible actress (you probably know her from her role as Taystee in Orange Is The New Black), but she is extremely dedicated to plus size representation. As Fashion to Figure’s first brand ambassador under their new parent company, Danielle produced her first shoot with the brand. Inspired by her own experience on photo shoot sets, where she never had a plus size stylist, she insisted on an all plus crew. She loved having a stylist who knew how to put her love handles in shapewear and a photographer who understood her angles. Everyone left the set with a strong sense of camaraderie.
