November is here! ‘Tis the season for giving thanks and showing your loved ones how grateful you are for them. All month long, we’re getting into the spirit of Thanksgiving by leading with a #GratitudeAttitude. That’s why we asked in the Dia&Co National Community Facebook group what everyone’s feeling extra grateful for right now. Here are just a few of our favorite answers to get your own #GratitudeAttitude going strong. *Answers have been edited and condensed for clarity and length.
“I am the most grateful for finding me. It has taken many years of highs and lows, but I can say, ‘I am ME.’ Finding ‘me’ has allowed me to live a life of love, happiness, and contentment with myself, my family, and friends.”

“I am grateful for the ‘Gift of Life.’ Almost 10 years ago, I received a kidney from a friend of mine. I’m looking forward to celebrating this 10-year anniversary in the spring. Every day is a gift! #Donatelife”

“I’m so grateful to have been given additional ‘borrowed’ time with my mother. Twice this year, we were certain we were going to lose her, but she defied the odds. So grateful to the wonderful team of caregivers helping us make her final weeks and months as happy, comfortable, and peaceful as possible. This year has been a continuing lesson to cherish the moments we have together.”

“My ‘gremlin’ and the gift of family he has given me. They all are encouraging me on my journey to fight the demons of my past that cause my PTSD, anxieties, and depression, so that I can be the best me—the true me. So very different from my birth family, who, throughout the years, tried to keep me quiet.”
Stephenie B.
“I am grateful to my style sisters who I have met through Dia. The days when I am feeling down, I have an amazing support system. The days that I am feeling good, which are increasing, I am able to share and encourage other women. I am learning to embrace the word ‘fat’ and learning to love myself for who I am right now—not who I could be 10 or 20 lbs lighter. It has changed my entire outlook on life and allowed me to spend more time focusing on the important things.”
