Meet Tina Rose
What do you love about being a Dia Stylist?
I love being dialed-in to my customers’ personal style. And if they don’t have one yet, I love helping them find it.
How would you describe your style?
I’m definitely a fashion chameleon. I love transforming my style to match my mood. There’s very little that I won’t try when it comes to fashion.
When was the last time you pushed yourself outside of your comfort zone?
Believe it or not, I am most outside my comfort zone when I take a minimalist approach to style. Minimalism is very much NOT my style—I’m quite eclectic—but I’m open and definitely embracing it more lately.
What do you do outside of Dia?
I love to sing—folk, rock, R&B, bluegrass, you name it. I grew up in a very musical family and have been surrounded by music my entire life. When I’m on stage, it just feels like home.
How does our styling service work? With every Style Box our stylists put together, they give thoughtfully curated options based on your preferences. And they’re always standing by as a second opinion. Over time, our stylists pretty much become the shopping BFF you never knew you needed.
We believe finding oneself is one of the greatest joys in life. And we do that through what we know best—impeccable style.

What motivates you?
I love to interact with customers and help them feel inspired to have fun with their wardrobes. If I can get you to feel beautiful and confident for a special event (or even for your day-to-day) than I’ve done my job.
What should someone expect from you as a stylist?
I ask a lot of questions! I want to get to know you better and understand your style DNA. It always helps when you share your Pinterest boards. That gives me a lot of inspiration for your box.
Who is your style icon?
Mindy Kaling. She is a fan of bright colors and fun prints, both of which fill me with pure joy.
What do you do outside of Dia?
I am an avid reader—mainly historical fiction, but really, everything. I carry a book with me wherever I go. Style tip: you can usually fit a book on the inside pocket lining of most denim jackets! I always take book recommendations from my Dia customers. I also love to cook with my kids. My go-to recipe is carnitas and rice with tortillas made from scratch, of course—my Mexican abuela wouldn’t have anything else!

What motivates you?
I love being able to be a part of another woman’s style journey. At Dia, it is my personal mission to ensure that every woman I style feels loved, heard and that her box was styled with care.
What’s the biggest style risk you’ve taken?
A sleeveless top to a graduation party. I am terrified of sleeveless tops because I don’t love my arms, something I see with so many or our customers as well. But I had a gorgeous top and, even though it wasn’t in my comfort zone, I received a ton of compliments. I realized that nobody cared about my arms the way I do. I tell women all the time to wear what they want to wear and what feels good. It was lovely to take my own advice.
What do you do outside of Dia?
I love hiking, camping, traveling. This is a photo of me on a family trip at the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge in Ireland. I had just done a cartwheel and was laughing because it was so windy, I almost fell over! It was a wonderful trip and I can’t want to go back to the Emerald Isle and do more cartwheels across the country. I always like to take the scenic route when I travel.

What is your mission as a stylist?
As a stylist, I’m on a mission to teach our Dia gals to think outside of the box and wear pieces they already have in new and fun ways. Fashion is supposed to be fun! And if you don’t like the way a piece of clothing makes you feel, then take it off and try something else.
Who is your style icon?
I can’t only pick one, so let’s throw Bianca Jagger, Nicole Richie and Rihanna in a pot and mix them together! I love how they each march to the beat of their own fashion drums. These women wear what they want, when they want. And so effortlessly.
What do you do outside of Dia?
I am actually a make-up artist by trade so you can usually find me doing makeup for weddings or editorial photoshoots. I’m a creator and I love seeing clients’ reactions to seeing themselves for the first time. A client can sit down and tell me about all of their insecurities and when I hand them the mirror you see their eyes light up and all of those negative thoughts about themselves disappear (it’s awesome). I feel the same way about being a stylist. If I can bring a twinkle to a customer’s eye and allow her to feel beautiful, then I’ve done my job!
