I would describe my style as eclectic, with a touch of boho and edge. And because I’m both a homeschooling mom of two and a Dia Stylist, I look for items that are functional, cool, and easy to mix and match. Living in North Texas, the weather is so unpredictable, so I have a closet full of layers and items that can intermix together to create new ensembles. Versatility is key in my closet.
1. Nador Skinny Moto Pant
A great pair of moto pants can be the start of so many different ensembles. I love adding in feminine touches like lace and a clutch with an overstated bow to contrast the edgy faux leather. This is something you can find me in when heading to a metal concert with my husband, or even just out for drinks.
2. Safi Twill Pant
I can’t get enough of colored pants—in particular, I love this deep-mustard yellow pant with an edgy fray hem that adds a bit of interest. When dressing for a fall day that can go from warm to cool when the sun goes down, I like to add a flowing kimono.
3. Jocelyn Sleeveless Tank
Since summer temperatures last well into the fall months here, I love pieces that keep me cool but have those darker tones I am looking for to embrace pumpkin season. This animal-print top does just that when added to these deep-green skinny jeans.
4. Leroy Skinny Jeans in Forest Green
Adding green to my daily rotation with this pair allows me to play with cool tones and neutrals for the season. Try pairing them with your favorite cardigan and booties for the work week once the cooler weather begins to blow in.
5. Lexington Drawstring Jumpsuit
Popping on a jumpsuit for any special occasion or just to head out for the day has become my new go-to. I have replaced the concept of a little black dress in my wardrobe arsenal with this black jumpsuit instead. I dress it up by adding colorful wedges and a lace kimono when heading to a fall or winter wedding.
6. Linnea Denim Jacket
A classic denim jacket is a go-to staple, and this one has stretch for comfort when layering over a tank or short-sleeve top to transition into fall. Plus, I personalized it with buttons and patches to create a piece in my closet that is undeniably and uniquely me.
